Our take
I needed affordable pillow inserts for my sofa, and this 4-pack delivered. The polyester fill is firm enough to hold shape, and the white microfiber cover is soft. They're labeled OEKO-TEX, which is a nice plus. I bought the 14x14 size, and they fit standard covers well. Machine washing was easy—no clumping. The downside: they're inserts only, so you need separate covers if you want color. Also, the fill isn't as plush as down. But for $20.99 for four, they're a solid budget choice.
